We found out this morning where we will be spending the next three years of our life.....
Children's Mercy Hospital - MO! Kansas City was our first choice and Buzz is really excited about the program. It will be a good move for our family, but it's very difficult to leave our friends and family here in Salt Lake.
Sparkle is really excited. She's been telling us for weeks that she wants to move to KC. Here she is calling Aunt T to tell her the news:

Here's Buzz calling Uncle T while we try to pose for a family photo. It was definitely a few minutes of absolute chaos!

Here's the map of where Buzz' classmates are going. Not many going to the Midwest! I guess most are only willing to give up mountains if they get an ocean in exchange. :)

(Can you tell that Sunny had had enough by now? Rethinking our plan for her to be at graduation...)

Congrats again on your perfect match. :-) I think the midwest is a great place to land - especially with family there. Maybe you can name # 3 something with initials "KC"...:-)
Praise the Lord!! I am so happy for you guys!! What an answer to prayer. God is so faithful!!! AND, to hear the baby's heartbeat as well!! What a full week you have had. My prayers will continue to cover you and your family during this move and transition in your life. I know you'll be missed in SLC, but the midwest is getting a huge blessing by this "match"!! (Mountains/Oceans can be overrated! ha ha) Congrats again on this huge event in your lives.
In His Grip,
Kristi
Forgot to tell you....I posted a blog last night...your "exchange the mountains for the ocean" statement inspired me. See, you don't need the big mountains or a big ocean...just a little hill...a little dirt...a little imagination...a little dumptruck to tow you... and a blue plastic walmart pool....it's what you make it right? =) For now, it works for us! Again so happy for you guys!!
PS: The dance pictures of the girls is precious!!! I can't wait til we get to do those kind of things. So neat to see them explore what they enjoy in life and pursue it! Your girls are truly GORGEOUS!!
