I've been really impressed this past week that Sunny (age 2 and a half) seems to have picked up on the books-of-the-new-testament song that Sparkle had to learn for AWANA. I marveled as she sang the books accurately all the way up to "First and Second The-suh-luh-luh-lun-eons", hit Titus, Hebrews and James, and finished up with Jude and "Relevation".

Then I heard her start the song over again and realized that she isn't so accurate as I had thought:

"Mary-Mack, Luke and John..."

I wonder if Jesus ever had silver buttons, buttons, buttons all down his back, back, back?

Wow, I AM impressed. I was thinking of teaching our kids that song, but thought I would wait because it would probably be too hard for them. Not too hard for Lena! It is amazing what kids can do. I must not underestimate. :-) Really enjoy your blog these days, keep it up! Alex was excited when she heard about Ava's lost teeth - she said, "Oh, that's very good news." :-) She told me that she knows what the tooth fairy does with all the lost teeth - turns them into magic dream powder that gives kids good dreams.
