A Very Belated...

...birthday shout-out to our sweet Sevvy!

Sevvy turned one the end of September.  We celebrated the day with a trip to an apple orchard and farm where we picked apples, chose our fall pumpkins and squash for the house, and rode ponies.  Aunt T and Uncle T and the cousins came with us and we wrapped up the day with an evening of pizza and cupcakes at our house.  It was a great day!

Heading out to make our picks.  It was miserably hot and humid that day, not what I envisioned for apple picking, but we managed to get a couple of baskets before we couldn't stand the heat any more:

 I wasn't sure that Sunny was going to go through with the pony ride.  She looked really nervous the whole time, but in the end was very proud of herself!  (Have you ever seen such a tiny pony?)

This lady needed no convincing.  She just swung herself up without any help and off she went.

We didn't get a great family picture that day, we were all pretty hot at this point, but Sevvy's face in this picture just cracks me up!

 Sevvy was amazed that everyone was giving her things instead of taking them away.  She looked a bit baffled while opening her gifts.  :)

 It's been pure joy having you in our family and watching you grow, sweet little one!
